Digital Library Resources
All residents in Illinois have access to EBSCO databases through the Illinois Secretary of State's Office and the Illinois State Library. Annual library reports from across the state identified resource needs, and the Illinois State Library, recognizing the importance of reliable research tools, now provides this access to public libraries statewide. This now allows patrons to explore academic journals, newspapers, magazines, and reference materials at no cost. This initiative helps bridge information gaps, supports lifelong learning, and strengthens library services for all Illinois communities. Click below to find out more about each database.
